Acting since the age of 5, Mala Wright has appeared in over 85 projects for film, television, and online streaming platforms. Her appearances include supporting/day player roles in such independent films as A Place In Hell, Happy Yummy Chicken, 15 Till Midnight, 6 Models in Hell, Prince of Broadway, Cut To Black, The City Is Mine, Jesus V. Satan: Rise of The Zombies, Sucka 4 Luv, and Blissfully Unmarried. On television, Mala has appeared on Extreme Forensics, Cinematherapy, The Dr. Oz Show, The Nate Berkus Show, Impractical Jokers, Deadbeat, Curvy Girls, The Jury Speaks, The Killer Closer, and in the Troma Entertainment segment of the 2010 NY auditions for So You Think You Can Dance for FOX. She has also appeared in roles in Grimoire, Demon Doctor, and in Philly's Greatest Realtor. Mala also appeared in the Troma Entertainment comedy, Shakespeare’s Sh*tstorm in scenes with Troma legend, Lloyd Kaufman. Her upcoming projects include guest star roles in Crossroads, and FDates. Mala has also appeared in 6 installments of the sketch comedy show, Wawapalooza to sold-out audiences in Philadelphia. Mala is also a voiceover artist, knitwear designer, writer, and children’s cartoonist.
