Born and raised in South Carolina, Stan attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) then spent seven years in the Navy, serving in the Persian Gulf. Four year after retiring from a career in law enforcement, Stan lept into acting, appearing in music videos, most notably for heavy metal band Lamb of God.
