Timmy Daniels graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hunter College’s Theatre Program with an Honors BA in Theater. For his Honors Capstone Project he performed the college’s first 30-minute standup special. He also holds an AS in Theatre from BMCC where he was a Dean’s-Listed, Phi Theta Kappa, Honors Graduate in Theatre. He also holds an AS from LCC where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Film.
Timmy is a graduate of the accredited comedy school: UCB Improv. He was a performer on the UCB stages & was in the Advanced Study program where they groom performers for Late Night Programming. He also founded several improv & sketch teams.
In Theatre, Daniels has played roles in over a dozen plays including duo roles: “Guildenstern” & “Gravedigger” in Hamlet directed by Tony Award Winning Gregory Mosher, “Stan” in the Pulitzer prize winning play: Sweat by Lynn Nottage, directed by Adrienne Williams, "Mr. Hale" in the feminist play: “Trifles,” directed by Dr Helen Huff, & the Lead (Mr. Biederman) in the production of “The Arsonists” directed by Alkis Papoutsis. He also played multiple roles in the original Hamilton-style rap-musical: “To Catch A Fox” directed & written by Charles Burks & based on Shakespeare’sTaming of the Shrew.
Daniels has been performing standup comedy in New York for more than 7 years & has shared stage with comedians like Jim Gaffigan, Jeanine Garofalo, Lewis Black, & Jessica Kirson.
